Here are some little known facts about Commerce Casino: the Musical that you'd never know!

  1. The actual rehearsal stages burned down 23 times before a clear fire retardant latex paint was applied to the stage, crew, and performers in the number, "Bank is Hot!"
  2. Over 97.3 Billion Boba "pearls" are used in the number, "Food Server Rampage" per show.
  3. The show closes with 14 fatalities each night in the number, "Swipe in at :53, Not :52." (So you can imagine the turnover rate for new performers.  Send your headshots and resumes ASAP!)
  4. The entire principal cast of the show actually worked in a casino.
  5. The entire non-principal cast ALSO worked in a real casino.
  6. In all reality, they are all still working in a casino to this day.
  7. 4, 5, and 6 factoids are real factoids.
  8. The girl in, "Girl With The 36DD Bobas" actually is a 32A.  Amazing what 97.3 Billion Boba "pearls" can do.
  9. In every audition held, no one was ever turned away.  Every single person was cast.  The ones that weren't as "talented" were used in the number, "Swipe in at :53, Not :52."  Next audition date: Thursday, 4pm.
  10. To create a genuine casino feel, we planted actual casino patrons in every tenth seat of the theater to banter, swear in their native language, hit the chair in front of them, and smell. 
  11. Opening night, the show amassed a crowd of over 165 trillion people.  We could only accept a few thousand.  The first 300 of those "few thousand" recieved the fully autographed casino chip, thus it looked like a black chip.
  12. Someone farted in the number, "What's that smell?"
  13. For the number, "Something Stuck in Your Teeth," the performers ate a large amount of peanut butter, raw fish, and pomegranates.
  14. Russel Crowe was actually cast to play Super-Duper Manager Dave, but he was later released due to not enough "breakdancin' skillz".  Later, the role was filled in by some unknown who happenend to be named Dave too.
  15. Ben Afflek was cast as one of the Network employees "Rob", but was later replaced by another unknown who happened to be named Rob as well.
  16. There are more than 43 "Davids" cast in the show who all happened to be named David.  Thus in the cast page, you will notice, "The Davids."
  17. The number, "Palmpilot Princess" was abolished due to one of the "Davids" not being a princess (or female for that matter.).
  18. On opening night, Supervisor "Miguel" got into a catfight with "Michelle" the dealer about who had the prettiest nails.  Miguel won, hands down (no pun intended).
  19. Filipino Breakfast and Vietnamese ice coffee was the primary dishes served backstage.
  20. Natalie Portman was originally cast as "Antoinette" but was later released due to her fear of fire and Nelson.  The role was originally written out.  A struggling actor, Anthony, was later cast as, "Antoinette."  However, the director wanted him to be topless and realized it had to be a male name.  Thus, with months of rewrites, they came up with the name of "Anthony" to be played by Anthony of the same name.
  21. Nelson Mandela was cast as principal star, "Nelson", but was turned over to Willie Nelson, which was changed over to Ricky Nelson, onto the twin brothers of Nelson, back to Nelson Mandela and later removed but recast to unknown "Nelson" who worked for cheap.
  22. There are more than 70 parking bumps in the parking lot of the Commerce Casino.
  23. James Gandolfini was originally cast as Floorman "Jimmy".  Unfortunately, he left a note about, "...going fishing with Hoffa..." and was never heard from again.  Maybe he caught the big one.  The role is still open (actually it isn't, but are you going to tell him?).
  24. Captain and Tennille are still alive.
  25. Many of the homeless people in the number, "Shoeshine is Fine" have graduated to "bank chasers" after six months in the new Commerce Casino Graduate School of Gambling.  A show that helps outwards as well as inwards.  Homeless roles now open.  Auditions: See "Factoid" #9 regarding times.  Kum-kum as you are.
  26. Supervisor "Garrett" (like the weapon - garrot) was originally cast for Jerry Springer but was later turned down.  So they cast Pat Morita as the tolken Asian wiseman to portray "Garrett" but was turned down as well.  Thus, they ended up trying one of the stagehands and cast him as "Garrett".  Which in turn was turned down.  On to the homeless crew, turned down, then to the janitorial staff, turned down, and finally, they ended up with another struggling artist who happened to be named Garrett (and he's not Asian or a weapon.).
  27. The company name was originally known as Metwork N, but was later changed to Network M due to dsylexia.
  28. The person who put up this website in "fact"-iod did have too much time on his hands.
